Welcome to the loft desk.
This is a practical archive for creative exploration.
Designed for those looking to overcome creative blocks with actionable practices and for anyone who appreciates honest notes and thoughtful curation.
How this space is organized
To keep things simple and easy to navigate, everything is divided into three main areas:
- The Archive: The main shelf. A collection of thoughts and long-form essays, including core ideas and practical manuals.
- Notes: An ongoing collection of raw thoughts, daily observations, and work-in-progress fragments.
- The Library: A carefully selected list of artists, analog tools, books, videos ans everything that are actually worth your time.
Note: The Loft Desk is a newly built space. This archive is currently growing.

Who is behind the project?
L. M. is a researcher and an independent creator. More than just producing visual work, L. M. is driven by the desire to cultivate self-reliance, exploring how simple, imperfect physical actions can offer a renewed sense of independence.
"I spend most of my days navigating digital spaces, which gave me a deep need for analog grounding. I love tactile routines, messy sketchbooks and documenting my own world. For me, creativity has to be low-friction. I use this space to archive my visual experiments and share the tools that actually work for me."
